Glad to hear about your book
I heard about your book from Watching Dr Phil I have started to read it and I am understanding more. My dad has Alzheimers and lives below me.
He is starting to forget who people are. I will recommend this book to all that I know.

playbook
my husband was diagnosed with alzheimers and I was home from work on the friday and saw the show with the Broyes on Dr. PHIL. I would like to get one of your books, I aM sometimes at a loss at what to do with him. He is 86 and I am 62. I am going to retire the first of the year to take care of him. thanks for telling your story

My mother-in-law (90) has been placed in an Alzheimer's Unit for the past two years. My husband's father (84) has been taking care of her for the past seven years. Family has tried to help and has been so faithful to visit her twice a day since "mom" had always begged him to never put her in a nursing home. We know she is better off there. My own mother had early alzheimer's (in her 50's) but it was not diagnosable at that time. Thank you for sharing your story. I know this will give us valuable input into her care and those who have lived this life also. God Bless You.

Searching For Answers
Thank you so much for appearing on the Dr. Phil Show. I just happened to stumble across the last 15 minutes or so and I stopped dead in my tracks. I went into your website and read your playbook. I finally have some concrete information about what is goin on with my Mother. It seemed that no matter who I asked what was coming next I was just told "it will get worse". That, of course was NOT the answer I was looking for. You have spelled out what is happening and why, AND what is going to happen. Thank you so, so much. My beautiful Mother has mid stage Alzheimer's and your book has given me plenty of insight. I will carry it with me for as long as I need to. I plan to take care of Mother til the end if possible. Again, thank you so much.

I am so glad I saw Coach Broyle on the Dr. Phil show. I think he is a wonderful man helping others to understand and deal with a loved one with Alzheimers. My mother was diagnosed at age 62 and now is 70. Mow my father and my family can deal better because of the tips recieved by Coach Broyle

Caregiver to my Daddy
Coach Broyles, thank you for sharing your experience with your wife on the Dr. Phil show on Friday, October 16, 2009. I watched the show in the a.m. and watched it again in the p.m. with my husband. He has been when wonderful in helping me with my daddy who lives with us and attends an Adult Day Care during the day. I have attended lots of workshops and educational conferences, and you confirmed that we are on the right track in caring for him. I have requested a copy of your handbook through our local chapter of the Alzheimer's Association for additional tips and strategies. God bless you, your daughter and grandchildren!

just today
I just happened to see the last of Dr. Phil's show today . My husband of 48 years was just diagnosed this week (age 76). Some of our family is in total denial: but I knew there was a problem. My question initially was; what now? I don't think it was an accident that I saw that show so I'm ordering your playbook about your loved one. I know I can handle whatever comes our way. I just want to do the best I can. We have a strong and close family and Herb (my husband) has always been the rock. We will adjust. God will lead.(as He did to that program on Dr.Phil's show.

My Mother's Daughter
Today (Fri. 10/16)I watched Dr. Phil and saw the family of Mrs. Boyles talk about alzheimer's. I was very interested in this subject, you see we were told my Mother age 85 had Alzeimer's 2 years ago, we saw she was forgetting things, not remembering family. I of 4 girls moved in with my parents to be the caregiver with the help of my Dad, I have the help of my 3 sisters, but I see her 24/7. So maney things the Boyles talked about I see in my Mother every day. Bless you all for your love of her and we also have so much love of our Mother. My Mother's Daughter

Beginning Journey
Today I actually got to watch the Dr. Phil show & I am so glad I did!! I was very touched listening to your story! We were told Spring of 2008 that my Father has Alzheimer's. What a blow! So our Alzheimer's Journey is just beginning. After his hip surgery July of 2008, the Alzheimer's has progressed. I have 2 older brothers...neither help...& a younger sister that lives 6 hours away. She comes as often as she can & helps. I only live 20 minutes from Mom & Dad. I try to go once a week & spend a night or two in order to give Mom some help & a little break. I just can't get over the feelings I'm having. I'm very mad & upset. Not around Mom & Dad. Usually hits me as I'm driving home & I cry the entire way. Just breaks my heart to see Dad like this & to know it's only gonna get worse! Thank you so very much for sharing on the Dr. Phil show! I look forward to receiving your playbook. I think it will greatly help us. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK & THANK YOU AGAIN!!!!!!!
